MushStack is a project designed to guide mushroom lovers, hikers, and observers in identifying mushrooms from one another. Recognize the fruiting body by observing their surface, gills, stipe, and their bruise & blood. Learn fun and interesting facts about each mushroom and have a little something to say about them. Special thanks to Alan Rockefeller for his feedback, Paul Stamets whose videos and talks sparked the interest to start this project, and thanks to all the photographers whose mushroom pictures were used in the cards; their names, links, and copyright license can be found in our 'Credits' page.
This project is STRICTLY for educational purposes and does not glorify the use of any edible, healing, toxic or hallucinogenic mushrooms.
Warning: CONSULT AN EXPERT before touching and consuming any wild mushroom for it might cause severe poisoning and death.

Simple and memorable information about each mushroom.
The numbers & suits of the playing cards are directly in coherence with the type of mushrooms and their edibility, toxicity, medicinal benefits, and psychoactive properties as well as their level of strength and potency.
A rating system within each category of edible, toxic, healthy, psychoactive, and pigmented cards which also can be used as a game. (Pigmented cards contain the mushrooms that look beautiful and colorful yet don't fit in any of the four mentioned categories).
Two information cards with basic and general information about mushrooms, mycelium, ecology. Two cards containing a guide to icons, and credits (giving credit to the photographers).
